![]() Reading this as an adult I'd like to have read more about Andrew's reaction to the world of the 1990s, but that might have upset the excellent pace Hahn keeps up throughout. The historical details (clothing, phrases, etiquette) are enough to give a sense of place, but the story is never bogged down by them. 'Time for Andrew' is a life swap, where Drew must switch places to save the life of Andrew, his cousin, who died 70+ years ago. ![]() She'll alternate or mix into the formula some social criticism and insight but don't expect anything too heavy. Mary Downing Hahn is one of those authors who has built a career on young books concerning the supernatural. Fittingly enough, it was this ghost story. I needed to find some way to pass the time so, going into my old bedroom, I decided to pull out one of my old favorites that I've been meaning to reread. ![]() If ghosts do exist, I don't think that douche tactics are going to provide great results. Or whichever one is the one where the morons visit old buildings and dare ghosts to show themselves. Christmas Eve 2010, preparations are all finished, the family settles down to watch television. ![]()
